Let's Talk About Mark
Mark Watson simply loves creating reality in any form possible. From playing with Legos as a child, to directing the technical aspects of theatre in high school, and from creating vast model railroads as a young adult to finally telling stories through visual effects as a professional, Mark is truly a passionate creator.
Since the first time anyone asked Mark "What do you want to do when you grow up?", the answer has always been to work on movies. After graduating high school where Mark achieved acceptance into the International Thespian Society, Mark moved to San Francisco to attend the Academy of Art University. There, he explored visual story telling, beginning with 3D animation and modeling, then texturing and lighting, and finally where he hit his groove, compositing.
You could say Mark discovered compositing by accident, but his natural talent put him at the top of the class, and his working knowledge of animation, modeling, texturing and lighting boost Mark's compositing abilities even further.
